Webb21 okt. 2003 · All the pintle hooks I have ever seen (and I own three) have the exact same bolt pattern as the CJ-2A. You can go to any Tractor Supply, or Northern Tool store (or trailer supply) and buy one there. The smallest one they have does not have a grease fitting and looks like the originals (as far as I can tell). The loop is mounted to the tongue of the trailer. The safety pin is removed. Next the safety latch is pivoted out of the way as the head of the pintle hitch is opened up.
