You can use Worldcraft/Hammer/J.A.C.K. level editor or a texture tool like TexMex. This is the correct answer. There is no "wad" file in Quake containing all the textures. The textures are baked into the BSP when you compile the .map to .bsp. Dies Irae seems to be one of the few QL maps with a unique theme, however also somewhat samey colorwise.
