I accidentally discovered that when the song is playing in cover view (large album image at top of screen) you can just scroll up (so the screen images disappear upwards) to reveal both the Shuffle and Repeat buttons. Press Shuffle here and that's it. WebJan 5, 2024 · If the icon is in blue and has a 1 in it, the iPod is in Repeat 1 mode (repeat just one song). It sounds as though your iPod is in Repeat 1 mode. Tap the Repeat icon to turn from Repeat 1 to Repeat off. On the right hand side of the scrubber bar, just below the remaining time, is the Shuffle button.

WebOct 20, 2024 · I just noticed that you can press the "queue" button, then press "shuffle", while listening to songs on a playlist.
