WebMar 14, 2014 · I have a 42. It's a small gun with tight tolerances. It has not been out of the box perfection for every one. What I did with mine is before going to the range, I cleaned and lubed it, racked about 100 times or so, and left the slide open for a couple of days. The initial reports are that it at, least initially, can be ammo sensitive. WebMay 13, 2024 · I have tried 15# and 18# guide rods with no change (also double checked all guide rods in other 19’s with no issues). I have tried other stock ejectors and a ZEV ejector all witch work in other 19’s but will not work with this slide. I check the extractor with other guns and it works. It’s like the slide isn’t opening enough upon fire ... WebAlso, lube that baby up, and rack her like 250 times. It’ll naturally wear the rails down and break itself in.
