I don´t know if it was the 1.3.1 firmware or what, but past 2 weeks my fans do this constantly even when on login screen: Spin on for 1-2 sec >stop for 2 sec > spin on 1-2 sec >stop for 2 sec>spin and keeps on for 10s>stop. I think the fans are activated somewhere within this range, then cool the CPU and thus get the signal again to stop the fans, etc. On Windows, the fans are completely off at idle or light work.
